Resize C Drive on Windows Server – Download Partition Software for Windows Server C Drive Resizing

My hard disk drive was divided into two partitions when installing on my Server 2003, and now the C drive is going to full. So I want to resize the disk partition and reallocate more space to C drive. Do I need to repartition the hard disk? Will I lose the data on C drive after repartitioning? Thanks for any help!

Windows Server Extend C Drive
Instead of repartitioning hard disk, partition software like Windows Server partition manager enables you to extend the C drive by moving some free space from another partition. With this partition software, you are ensured that no data will get lost due to the partition resizing. Windows Server partition manager supports all Windows Server operating systems including Windows Server 32 bit and 64 bit. This partition software is helpful when you want to fix low disk space issue on Server C drive or when you want to extend disk partition because partition size is unreasonable.

How to Resize C Drive Windows Server?
Step1. Download, install and run Windows Server partition manager. Right click a partition that has lots of free disk space and choose "Resize/Move" option.
Step2. You can move the arrow when mouse shows double arrows so as to shrink the selected partition. You can get some unallocated space after shrinking.
Step3. If the unallocated space is not adjacent to C drive, you need to move it close to C drive. Then, right click C drive and choose "Resize/Move" option.
Step4. You can add the unallocated space to C drive by moving the arrow and then click "Apply" button to apply all changes so as to extend C drive.

Extend C Drive to Fix Low Disk Space Issue on Server
Although today’s hard disk tends to have a large amount of space, you still cannot escape from low disk space problem on Windows Server since the disk space especially C drive space might be taken up by Windows updates, Internet temporary files, program installations, cookies and caches, Windows Logs, and more. The best solution to fix low disk space problem on Windows Server is to extend the disk partition. Windows Server partition manager is able to extend C drive when it shows low disk space on Windows Server 2003 or other Windows Servers.

Resize C Drive When Server Partition Space Is Unreasonable
If C drive shows low disk space, you can extend C drive with Windows Server partition manager. If you find that partition space is allocated unreasonably, you can also resize disk partition with this partition software. For instance,
1. You can move free space from C drive to another partition.
You can not only move free space from data partition to C drive when it is running out of disk space, but also you can shrink C drive to squeeze some unallocated space when data partition space is unreasonable.
2. Move free space from one data partition to another partition.
Suppose your hard disk has been partitioned into 3 partitions (C, D, and E) on your Server. C drive works as system partition, while D drive and E drive are data partitions. If D drive has a low disk space while E drive is large, you can shrink E drive to add some free space to D drive with Windows Server partition manager.
